Die Österreichische Gesellschaft für Akustik "OeGA" (internationale Bezeichnung: Austrian Acoustics Association, "AAA") wurde im Dezember 1996 gegründet. Ihre Ziele sind unter anderem die umfassende Förderung des Fachgebietes Akustik in Österreich, die Verbesserung der Kommunikation österreichischen AkustikerInnen verschiedenster Fachrichtungen untereinander, die Förderung des AkustikerInnen-Nachwuchses, sowie die Vertretung Österreichs in der European Acoustics Association (EAA) und der International Commission of Acoustics (ICA).

 

The Austrian Acoustics Association (AAA) was founded in December 1996. It's aims are – among other goals – an extensive promotion of "Acoustics" in Austria, the encouragement of communication between Austrian acousticians working in various specific fields of acoustics and last but not least the representation of Austria within the European Acoustics Association (EAA) and the International Commission of Acoustics (ICA).
