Von 12. - 14. September 2012 fand in Petrčane Kroatien (nahe Zadar) der 5th Congress of the Alps Adria Acoustics Association statt.

Diese ist die regionale Dachgesellschaft der Akustik-Gesellschaften von Slowenien, Kroatien und Österreich. Alle diese nationalen Gesellschaften finden sich auch in der Europäischen Gesellschaft für Akustik (EAA) wieder.

Natürlich war beim Kongress auch die AAA-OeGA mit mehrerern Beiträgen vertreten. Der 6th Congress wird 2014 in Österreich stattfinden.
